Hmm. I really like the idea you are presenting. Technically, I would prefer to swap "dangerous" and "lethal." Humankind has long availed itself of knowlege without wisdom, or understanding of the long-reaching consequences of an action (ie, medications like Thalidomide for morning sickness, or x-raying children's feet at the shoe store for assessing fit of each pair tried, etc). The results are not always "lethal", but (I believe) generally potentially dangerous. What do you think?

I would probably omit the comma, as the way you have positioned the lines provides thinking space.

Thanks for reading my one line piece "Dangerous Possession". I appreciate your deeper thought
Process on the topic in suggesting reversing dangerous with lethal. However, since you asked why
I'd decided to state the quote in the way I have. I must explain .It wasn't merely off the top of my head when I'd written it a few years back. I tend to delve into dilemmas faced by society too deep sometimes for my own good. Headaches in sue. Ha! All joking aside though. In the greater scheme of issues facing my own and humankind's existence. Many instances have occurred throughout history and I'm afraid always will. Where a little knowledge and or a great deal of such. Has proven to be "lethal" if not tempered with the considerable gained wisdom needed to weld it correctly. This is why I've chosen to word it in the fashion that I have. Knowing full well, mankind's reach must exceed his grasp hardly excuses the inept fever demonstrated in a variety
Of decisions acted upon in haste minus accumulative experience. Too long winded an explanation
Possibly? Sorry if it seems such. It just seems that for every new revelation of advancement known to mankind. That should be a blessing of acquired knowledge. Some over exuberant twit
And or greedy Gus capitalizes on it in a bad way. And in many instances it has lead to deaths.
Now,I suppose you could see my outlook on the subject as being negative in my views /faith in humankind. However, when the historic facts are tempered with knowing, such advances can be of benefit to mankind too. I hesitate to agree with any such assessment. At least for the moment.
      Thanks again though for reading.

this is an incredible motto. what a thinker! Knowledge is an amazing gift that can be used to make the world a better place, but if placed in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to use it to help others, it becomes a deadly weapon that can cause destruction beyond belief. very well done...good luck in the contest!
