Heavenly Playground

Missing image
God has created a  playground in Heaven,
the littlest angels swing high and low,
giggling as they swing back and forth,
singing God's praise as the trumpets blow.

When they climb up the ladder in Heaven,
God's playground is safe from all harm,
as they slide down the sliding board,
God is there to catch them in His arms.

God's teeter totter goes up and down,
as the little angels recite a prayer,
they have forgotten pain and sorrow,
their happiness echoes through the air.

The little angels climb the jungle gym,
they are afraid so they start out slow,
if the angels fall, they won't get hurt,
they land into the soft clouds below.

Know there is peace for little children,
the littlest angels all know God's love,
they will have everlasting happiness,
in God's playground in Heaven above.

    this was a great poem. So happy and full of peace. I can so easily imagine all the children playing with the young angels, swinging on swings, hanging on monkey bars. I loved this poem!

    I pictured this from the view of the little ones that are taken to heaven. Beautiful, sweet and innocent, no more pain or suffering. Loved it!

    How Beautiful Sandy!! Just to know the beauty of Heaven and to know that we will be in a land filled with peace and Love!! We will have fun. It won't be boring up there!! Never!! Praise God Hallelujah!! I don't know how I missed this earlier when I was going through your poetry, but I am commenting and saying that this blessed my heart beyond you will know!!
