Motherhood

Your eyes red rimmed
Shaking from the coffee to stay awake
There were nights you cried
Not knowing how much more of motherhood you could take
I know you sometimes felt
That you failed as a mother
But honestly mom
I wouldn't trade you for any other
I admire your strength
And your gentle touch
I admire how you keep going
Though your tasks are way too much
You're my mom when I cry
A shoulder for me to rest
But the times when you were more my friend
I cherish the best
I don't think any woman
Could be a better mom than you
So for all the times you've been there
I wanna say thank you

I found this to be amazing. Though I haven't given birth to any of my children and they are all so close to my age (my AP children) you have really touched me. This how I appreciate my AP Mama and how I hope my children feel when they think of me. YOu did wonderful!

    Hugs

This was lovely. And I give you so much credit for writing this sweet thing for your mother, instead of an angry ranting or complaint. This made me smile.
