Posers (Contest poem)

posers

posers are the people that all hate

they pretend to be just like you
they pretend to share your feelings
they pretend to be depressed and hurt

when really they just want to become a clone

they are afraid to be an individual
they are the imperfections nature made
they all just need to get a mind of their own

they want to fit your mold instead of making their own

they are all liars and fakers
they all need to just go away

all the posers need to become their own

posers

I like the way posers start the poem and posers end this. I can relate to this poem. I know too many people like this, and it's sad that there are people like this. In a way your poem almost feels as though you feel sorry for them. But I like that. Well done and good luck
