When I walk in darkness,
My God is always near,
Just knowing He is with me,
takes away all of my fear.
Satan can not harm me,
of this I have no doubt,
God's armor will protect,
as I wonder all about.
He holds me in His hands,
He will forgive all my sins,
His love lifts me up,
you will find peace within.
Satan can not hold me,
when I cling to you,,
so wrap me in your arms,
until my journey's through.
God's love shall prevail,
even the stormiest sea,
He is my only beloved,
since He rescued me.
Jesus I will wait for you,
till life on earth is through,
then come take me home.
to spend eternity with you.

very beautiful picture of a Jesus and a little child. Well written rhyming poem. God is always witb us no matter what we go through in our short life. There is a great song "God Is With Us", by the Christian singers, Point of Grace. That is my favorite song from Poing of Grace. I like there song titled "Jesus is always here", a lot and a lot. I will keep writing spiritual poems, too. I hope you will keep doing that, too Sandygram.

Wow Sandy!! From the time I saw that picture, my eyes were glued to the screen
That was a gorgeous picture I can't wait till we get to see Jesus face to face and behold His glory I loved this poem!!
