My sister

I love my sister very much
I care for her dearly
but I don't know how to help her
how to bring her from her rut
do I talk to her
or just leave her alone?
will she hear me or just shut me up?
she means a lot to me
I so want to help
she is hurting herself
and can't get out
mom yells at her and step dad too
her boyfriend doesn't help
she don't think that's true
how can I talk to her
without pushing her away?
maybe she will find this poem
and listen to what I have to say
I love you Jo
stop trying to be what your not
don't live for others
only yourself
look to God, its not His fault
I found that out
I hope you will too
I am very sorry I don't mean to be rude
I know its my fault for the things you do.
Please forgive me but I love you!

    Shauntee. Can I say that I am in awe of this poem This has truly captured every beat of my heart. Its so sad to know what is going on with your sister and just have to sit there while she is falling apart like that. I know how much you love her and how much you truly care. For this poem is definitely a beautiful portrait of how much you love your sister. I do to hope that she finds this and discovers that she can't do it on her own. I pray that she will find the truth in Christ and the peace that He can bring I will lift her up every night Thank You for writing such a beautiful piece!! God Bless You my friend!!
