I will not be discouraged,
or be sad, or begin to cry;
I will not be downhearted,
and here's the reason why.
My GOD is so almighty
His words remain supreme;
my God truly loves me,
I will serve on His team.
He is wise and powerful,
JESUS is His name;
though the world changes,
My GOD remains the same.
My GOD knows everything,
from beginning to the end,
He guides us everyday,
God is my dearest friend.
When worry comes to me,
I bow to Him and I pray,
I call upon my mighty GOD;
to take all my doubts away.
When wickedness threatens,
to take away my peace;
hold me close fill my heart,
let all my worries cease.
If my faith begins to wander,
and weakness takes control;
God gather me in your arms,
soothe my heart and soul.
I refuse to be defeated,
Satan will never take my soul,
God promised to be with me,
the day He made me whole.
I thank God for all I have
my life is His to now mold,
God has promised eternity,
it 's the greatest story ever told
