Well, for me there is an unconnected leap between 'I think, therefore I am' and 'one mind created all of this I see'

but I'll put aside the difference between logic and philosophy, and read on.

Thank you for reading and commenting, Pania. It is always a pleasure to hear new "input", and your thoughts are appreciated. I'll save any debate over whose "logic" and whose "philosophy" is unconnected and simply say thanks.

Thank you, mellilot. And I like your reference to descartes. I think he had it backwards, as you picked up on here. Overall, this series is one of my personal favorites, because of the succinctness of it all. Plus it is fun to hear what others think!
Thanks for coming by and reading!

oh... not sure how to go about commenting on the whole.
This first bit screamed Descartes at me, but is more the reaction to Descartes as the man himself was a dualist.
I liked the general progression of the whole- and it spoke to me of a general movement in thought/paradigms througout history, that was at times a little trite. But I liked how throughout all the searches for truth were searches for self and attempts to understand who "I am" - the use of "I am" as a title was quite inspired by the way; adding a quirk and an identity in many senses.

This is, I have to say quite a brilliant piece.

what may be beyond the ability for most to grasp and understand; we ARE of the D N A of God--created in His mind, then by his mind. Ultimately, we share the same mind.Therein lives the 'peace' He offers to all whi dilligently seek Him. Mr. Joe

    BRILLIANT!

    I have read every part of you theory. I concur that everything you said is intelligent, well thought-out, concise, liberating, and makes me give a sigh of relief to witness my belief that;

"WE are all pieces of the whole, and everything is ONE!"

ONE living entity cannot exist without the other ONE. The cycle of life dictates that "Love" is the essence of ALL things, no matter how great or small.

You have written a manual for the masses. I am very impressed with your brevity. It does not take numerous papers and/or an unending essay to bring to light; TRUTH!

You have politically, scientifically, spiritually, and naturally given the yen and yang, the alpha and omega....

Although this is theory it rings more true than a lot I Have read, and believe me, I am well-read.

I love the use of I Am. I also love the usage of "peace/piece"

    My brother once concluded a sermon by saying;

"The only way to obtain the PEACE of God is by internalizing a Piece of God"

    BRILLIANT! BAVO! BRAVISSMO!

I am going back to applaud each part because once the reader begins on this journey there is no stopping or pausing until the end is reached. You conclude this theory with a resounding rush of absolution that sorts the mind like a sieve.

    Much Love,
    Renee

Simply and brilliantly said and we all are and so a part each of the other and so each is also a peace of the greater whole or the greater whole is within us a part of us the place from whence we came the place where all journeys end..

You'll forgive me for commenting on just one after reading the lot... I need a ladder lol this was deep, an inward examination of why, who and what. Your not the first and somehow I doubt you'll be the last I guess we all ask the questions that life dumps before us in riddles but you have achieved more than most your summations are eloquent taking us on a journey past I think there for I am, the evolution of fear and religion all in the birth of the self, an awareness. I like this very much I’m sure your pleased with the way it evolved…well done

Aspasia77, I always find it enlightening to hear the thoughts of others, so your comments are appreciated. It does seem to me that throughout our history, we have been taught to think of our "littleness" as being insignificant. I have learned quite the opposite, however, in that it is our grandeur as a very piece of god that contains our destiny of self awareness. This has been my experience, actually, leading to my own personal awakening.

I tend to agree somewhat, however; I find that I tend to believe that individually we are unimportant pieces of God. I think that our importance comes from the belief in self. God is all. All we are is what we are.

"I Am of this One Mind"
yep, I'm reminded of Adam and Eve...we are all of the same mind. When you think about nature, what sets humans apart?
    Instinct!
It is instinct that the whole of creation relies upon...

...except for human beings! We are the only creatures with the ability to think for ourselves, with the choice to see the foresttor the trees, human nature is unreliably unpredictable because we rely on our thought patterns and not so much on our instincts...but instincts still arise! Especially when two people with free-will cross paths, as this creates a distinct conflict that no other creatures in existance experience.

I think that organized religion trains people into faithful "sheep," as it is the "religious" folks who tend to react upon instinct (as anybody who grew up in a Catholic environment would probably think, at this point in my comment: bam bam, YOU'RE GOING TO HELL, HEATHEN! ) When people 'resort' to instinct, rather than the free-willed, unified mind that is all of Human Nature, Wars ensue! Just like the animal kingdom...the sheep need the shepherd's protection from the wolves because they lack the intelligence (not to say religious people are stupid-they're not!! Merely reactionary) to defend themselves. Wow, look at all this that I have written, your stuff is really deep, Watuwant!

poison, this poem is "incomplete" only because it is part I of a series. I believe that if you read them all, you would then see that I have left nothing out. I was with intent that these are brief, concise, and pointed. Yet thru them all, and when taken in totality, I also believe it is a completed series.
I Am familiar with Hinduism, and even some of the Egyptian stuff you mention. It has been awhile since studying up on them, but study I did. My thanks to you for recommending them and I will certainly delve into them again if inspired to do so. For the time being, I am focussed on other aspects.
There is another book out, quite recent, called "The Disappearance of the Universe" by Gary Renard, which falls in line with my thought system completely. This book states that the universe itself is an illusion, created by us, and that once we unite as one mind, it too will disappear into the nothing from which it came. Indeed, it goes on to say that this has already happened, and yet for those of us in the illusion, we have not reached that point yet. lol, a mind bender, to be sure, but fascinating stuff.
At any rate, let me know about your contest and thanks for coming by.

Hum nice, I’m glad you liked my Loki- meets Lilith poem... I have a pet snake named Lilith, she is so cool, black Mexican king snake...heehee she's got the perfect name
Anyway I think this could use some work, delve a little deeper into what you want to say, if it helps, try reading a little bit about Brahman and Autman from Hinduism, these concepts seem to be right in line with what you are saying
Brahman is the creator above the creator, everything exists inside of Brahman and therefore everything is Maya, illusion... even the Brahman himself... the Autman is the piece of the Brahman bestowed upon human beings, those who nature it are privy to the knowledge of Brahman and are one with him, those who do not nature it are angry and bitter since the Autman brings piece to the human mind... the word Autman comes from the Egyptian Amen, who was the dark lord of all -who is a part of all that is holy... some interesting stuff if you factor in that in Egypt and elsewhere Amen was evoked after every prayer -even prayers to other gods.... just something interesting I thought you would like...

Aspasia, yes, I have enjoyed your poetry. By all means, keep it up, although write for yourself rather than others (which I'm sure you do.)
And it matters not whether "you agree" with me. In essence, your statement contains wisdom. We are ALL Gods, simply in the process of Godding, or realizing it, so in that sense, there are many "subgods." However, ultimately, all is one and comes from one and goes back to One. This can be proven, to yourself, if you simply seek to realize it.

I almost read it as "peace" the first time until my mind said "Wait a minute! That's not what that said..." Very nice touch. And very fitting! You've created a thing of major substance from just a few words, which I always love to see. Thanks for inviting me to check this out. Am off to read the next bit....
God bless and be well, Sim.

Yes, Presence, it certainly is not our intent. Very happy to hear, from those I respect, that this is the beginning that fits so well for Our intent.
    Talk to you Wednesday!
    Peace

When one builds something you must start with a good foundation, and here it is. The first stone to be laid is the on which all else is built, and by placing the mighty "Now" as your cornerstone you have started at the right place.

This is a great beginning to the series of which I will say now I quite enjoyed. The concise forms and sutra like statements at the end were intriguing, and lent a sense of continuity, and wholeness.

Of this piece I agree with the others above that I wouldn’t change a thing. I find this sentence worthy of note:

“I Am of this One Mind”

For if you had left out the word “of” you could delete your last sentence and the series would be over.

But that is not our intent here.

I'm glad you're reading this, Toltec. It is a work in progress, perhaps, and I wanted to ask you to read it, simply to get your input, but was hesitant to do so because of how narcissistic is sounds. I would simply love any critiques and criticisms designed to improve it. So feel free to give any, and no worries about me feeling offended. I've had this idea in my head for quite awhile now and desire it to be "perfect."
So all help is deeply appreciated!
    Peace

Yes! Nice start here. I can see ACIM influence too. You have said it perfectly. Here in lies the "piece" of God. Nice touch my spiritual brother.
