The unfinsed sonet

I began to listen to reasons                a
Though against the romantic belief           b
That we all are changing with each season   a
Some changes causing anything but relief    b
With each day becoming more of a strife     c
Mixed with a Song of Songs, spiritless      d
Living each day but with what kind of life  c
Why such a melancholy listlessness          d
