I cannot forget
Your smile
With you the sun won't set
On time
And every day
Your eyes would light my way

I cannot release
My pain
I cannot be at peace
In vain
So when you leave
I know who to believe

I cannot forgive
That kiss
But I will always live
In bliss
For I have no doubt
What my smile is about

    I have walked this shadowy Path, my Friend...I hear ya...sometimes, my Sun won't set at all...& I am awake for far too long...this site keeps me company on those long, lonely nights...I won't tell you 'Time heals all wounds'...but I will tell you, Time provides a different perspective...the Pain eases a bit...& then all the good memories are able to shine with clarity...including those memories you thought you'd forgotten...Be well, Poet...Love will find you again; count on it...
