My Love For God

Missing image
Oh Holy Spirit stay within my soul,
please never let me be without you,
since the day you came unto me,
Jesus I have felt so loved by you.

When my tears still overwhelm me,
let me feel the Holy Spirit inside,
Jesus I do trust you completely,
with your love I will always abide.

Never let me fall from your grace,
keep me safe and make me strong,
stop all attacks from the evil one,
when his wickedness comes along.

What more do you want of me Lord,
I pray every night through my tears,
I am sorry I took so long to love you,
please forgive me for all those years.

Oh how I want to see and touch you,
just to know this feeling is  real,
each night as you come and we talk,
please hold me, please let me feel.

Loving you stirs so many questions,
give me the wisdom to understand,
about this amazing love I have found,
since that day I held out my hand.

Wow Josh , thank you for sharing your story with me. It is so amazing how God brings people together. If you ever need to talk we Christians on here are always ready to listen. I talk to several young girls that do cutting and one that does drugs. I am here to listen and tell them about Jesus love if they want to. My friend Charles Onfire4Jeasus is always there to talk to if you need to talk too. Welcome to our Christian family. Keep Jesus in your heart and pray everyday. I too got the gift of tongues and I am an interssor(gift of prayer) . God Bless you Josh .

Wow, this is touching, and overly relatable to me. I never realy believed in God, I lived for drugs, I was involved in whitch craft, and obsessed with demons, until One night two years ago, I Got forced by situations to move to WV, I was mad, I didn't want to move, I moved and went to my sisters church out here and The holy spirit just came over me, I surendered and he came into me. Weeks later I Prayed for the gift of toungues and I recieved it. I fell back into drugs and started falling back into familiar darkness. I was going through withdraws from meth so bad I needed other drugs to calm me down, I fell but Jesus lifted my back up. I've been sober for 9 months now and Im apprenticing for church leadership. God has done so much for me. This is an awesome poem. I loved it.
