A New Crossroad

My life at home
Is pain, loneliness and despair
But on the outside
Life is beginning to look up
People are starting to notice me
And I think that
I might actually be...
Happy

My life is a constant crossroad
Where the good mixes with the bad
That good road once was hidden
Until I managed to clear the path

And now that it is clear
I may travel my days upon it
Even though I know the bad road
Will never be forgotten

Here comes the horrible end to a good day
I'm crossing another bad crossroad
Every time I return home
A place I really don't want to go...

Author notes

Hm.. I had trouble with this ending. Nothing just really worked but I guess it isn't too bad. And every word of this is true. I think I should've made this longer though...
