He'll be missed.

Children eyes
Tears that fall
Hurting inside
Mothers kiss goodbye
Walking to school
Wanting to walk the other way towards home
When he arrives he'll shadow himself from
Students judging
Schools not what it used to be
He'll hide his feelings from everyone inside
No one can see the pain that lies in his green eyes
Sunset falls
Last nights dreams
Setting this soul free
Morning rise
Next day at school
A moment of silence came
Eyes turn weak
Now its to late
Halls were quiet throughout the day
For he will be missed.

Author notes

Many people do not realize how bad they are hurting someone, intill it makes someone commit suicide. On March 16th, a 7th grader at my school commited suicide i did not know him..but the point is suicide is the number one insult but most suicides are by teens, from what someone else had said.
-To bad we can't walk in someone elses shoes just for one day-

Josh this is so terribly sad. I am sorry that this young person committed suicide. And I agree with you, if we could walk in someone else's shoes for a day I am sure we would all appreciate what we have.

This is a great poem, sad but so very true, this happens a lot and unfortunately some are too scared to ask for help.
    Thanks for sharing this.

    Hugs Lori

aww...Josh....this is the saddest one I have read yet....
You are sooo good at poetry such as this. You are such an excellent writer.

Keep up the great work...and thanks for sharing your most important point with us...you are exactly right...we do not know until we walk within someone else's shoes for a while...exactly what it is like for them.

aww. This is so sad and such a great write. Thank you for writing this it shows people how much what they say could hurt a person. People should always try there hardest to make sure no one is left alone or treated wrong because the ones who are normally need friends the most. Great write and thanks for sharing.
