Father God, I come to you now
Be with my brother,
He is like no other
Watch over him as he takes this step
As he goes in to the Navy
Protect him from harm
Shield him with your arm
Be With Him always
Be with my family as
We support him in this choice
Let him hear nothing but good from our voice
Lord be with him
Let him look to you
When the world seems dim
Let your light shine through him
Brightening this earth in your name

He will make a fine sailor

Wrote this a few minutes ago. I think this is a prayer that anyone who has a loved one in the military can use.

This is an amazing prayer. You should have entered it in the groups contest. Win or lose we would all have been blessed by reading this. I will keep you and your brother in my prayers.
My husband is retired airforce and so was my daddy. I know all about fearing for their safety.
