This I Pray

For the first time, I'm realizing my heart is not what it should be
I ask you Lord, with tears in my eyes, to save me from my complacency
Help me to love you with all of my heart, soul, and mind
Please, God, take my will and make it wholly thine
I want to live wholly for you
You be my life, I'll love you anew.
Lord take my heart, take all the space in it
I crucify my sings for your love so infinite
My sinful ways shall die with my past
May I begin to comprehend your glory so vast
I am your vessel, mold me to suit
Wash me and make me your daughter renewed
Take all I am, my thought and my dreams
Teach me to not always take life as it seems
I want to love you with all of my heart
Consecrate me Lord, and set me apart
Try me, test me, all is for You
Help me to honor you in all that I do
Now I give all I am, only to serve
I hold nothing back, there is no reserve
You are my King, my Saviour, my purpose
Help me to see that all else is worthless
Here I repent, I long to be yours
I invest everything in you, knowing you'll help me soar
God, I beg you to be my existence
My life is all yours, I cast away all resistance
Use me Lord, as you will.
