Favor for Lebanon

See Lebanon become a fruitful field,
The deaf shall hear the words of My Book;
As in His grace, they are healed,
He will find he’s one not forsook.

The meek will increase in their joy;
The blind will see from out of the bleak;
Lebanon has become My adopted boy;
By My strength, they’re no longer weak.

Out of My grace, you have My favor,
Out of My love, you’re plight I will deal;
You have My joy, this being major
Rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Author notes

For my Lebanese sister in the Lord.

(I guess it had to happen, Luna, having read the verses cited. My heart is with my Lebanese sister, and her country.)

“Is it not yet a very little while
      Till  shall be turned into a fruitful field,
      And the fruitful field be esteemed as a forest?
      In that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book,
      And the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity and out of darkness.
      The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD,
      And the poor among men shall rejoice
      In the Holy One of Israel.” —Isaiah 29:17-19

    I can only imagine what it is like living in such war torn and ravaged place. I know this will provide more than just a smile at your thoughtfulness, but hope and encouragement for a future of love and blessings for those who trust in Him. Your scriptural reference is topping on the cake fo those who are naysayers and nonbelievers! What a blessing for your friend and I'm sure it touched your heart as well!
    Blessings,
    Frog~

    Most of what I write about is inspired by Biblical scripture, as shown in my comments here. I have committed all I write the Lord Jesus. God bless and thanks!

    Lovely Bob, truly lovely. I am sure that this will or already has touched her heart, that you would take the time to write one about her country. You did an outstanding job of taking the scripture and turning it into poetry here. God bless you my brother! ~Melissa♣
