Springtime Snapshot

Missing image

Springtime  brings back laughter
that' was been hidden by the cold
the snow has melted in the meadow
nature's colors we now behold.

Fledglings perched on branches
below a chipmunk and a hare
scampering across the meadow
sounds of nature are everywhere.

Cocoons have released their beauty
fluttering butterflies are abound
gracing the sky with their elegance
gliding so softly,  without a sound.

The sun warms up the meadow
shining down on God's domain
life in the meadow is flourishing
nourished by the springtime rain.

The warm southwest breezes blow
as the cold north winds disappear
winter left for a change of season
thank goodness springtime is here.

I must say I love it when it snows during wintertime, but that is about all I love about it. I am glad springtime is coming closer, just like you I assume.
    Love D.L.

A handful of nice, breezy quatraines blowing away the chill of winter!
