Captivation

As I gaze to the vermillion sky,
Wonderance strikes me,
Delicacy of nature eclipses all,
Light beams through, illuminating.

Purity and perfection, striving to achieve,
Not a soul completes,
The cycle that runs onward,
Jaded, touching, driven.

Upward we soar, horizons beckon,
Eluding the desolation,
Oceanic in it’s torment,
Mercifully, we rise away.

Author notes

A random musing, I just scribbled it down when I was looking out of the window once
