Liar

You lie to me
Yet still I believe...

Am I that gullible
Or just easily deceived

You tell me these stories
As if I'm a child

I'd trust anything you'd say
Even though it was far-fetched and wild

I'm starting to see the truth can't be told
It's not like you're young, you're getting old

So it's time to grow up
And learn to be honest

Start telling the truth
Like you always promised

this is just a poem I wrote for all of us out there who continue to be lied to

    Oh sis...

    I don't know what to think, I dont know what he lied about...or how he hurt you...but it hurts me so much .
    But...I know you have to get through such things to fall in love..and Nick and I have more then anyone knows...
    Congrats on getting through it all and still having incredible love for him...and Im sure, 3 beautiful children.

    Ah yes...loving the eternal "Peter Pan". How well you describe their propensity for embellishment or out right fantasy... the duality of these characters is the double edged sword that cuts even as it charms...I am well acquainted with this type of man. Excellent write friend poet.

    Good rhyming, I was left wanting more, so if you feel that way inclined please add to it. The only think wrong with it is there isn't enough of it.
    There is a nice pattern to it.

    I know the feeling, I too have been that easily deceived and became that gullible. He lied till he was thrown into jail. now He still trys to lie to me in the letters. And I guess I am that gullible to still believe

    I really like this, I have friends that lie to me all the time, and they think I don't know. I wish they could just get a clue and realize I'm not as stupid as they think I am lol. Great write, thanks for sharing!

    oooo I like this! Good job. Being lied to sucks and yet a lot of people have problems with it. Good write!
