Each happy thought followed by a curse
Each smile followed by one more tear.
Each time everything seemed right,
She found more trouble at the next door.
This world so full of hate and hurt,
A small light barely shines through.
Each moment of laughter followed by pain.
It seems for each moment of bliss
She must pay with ten moments of torture.
A small light barely shines through.
So small it goes unnoticed at first.
With each day though it grows,
Until no matter how much pain and hurt,
All she finds are smiles.
Each curse followed by a happy thought.
Each tear followed by one more smile.
Each time everything starts to go wrong,
She found happiness at the next door.
This world so full of hate and hurt,
That she can't help but hope for something better.
Each moment of pain followed by laughter.
For each moment of torture
She gladly suffers for ten moments of bliss.
The pain almost worth it for the love she finds.
The tears worth crying because they wash away the hurt.
Each curse becomes less harsh,
When she remembers how far she has come.
This time it won't get thrown away.
This time she won't let go.
Author notes
So much crap went on last week and as much as I tried to be anger all I could do was think of how much I love you...
This poem sucks but I needed to write something....

This poem is so full of truth. I feel like that sometimes. Happiness only comes with the cost of pain. Grr.. Why does it have to be like that. I so often wonder why this world is still here. It is such a messed up place full of pain. We all are suffering in some way. No one has a perfectly happy life.

That shows how many people often feel. And it does not suck. It is very truthful and deep.

I do not think it sucks. We all have troubling times. It's full of expression and helps to aid in the feelings of frustration we all go through.
