Lena

Lena

Her eyes were as scattered as her words
I was more curious than afraid
Aware that anything could happen, but
She was worth the wait

Her stories were bizarre at best
Involved in the whisperings she'd hear
I'd hold her hands until she was ready, because
She was worth the wait

Often she sat alone talking to herself
Another world in another time
It was hard to disturb her thoughts, but
She she was worth the wait

Sometimes she was a princess or queen
With her mink stole and bouffant hair
She'd stare into the mirror while I stood
She was worth the wait

Today her family's cars lined the drive
Two weeks early, one day late
She had gone to heaven where God smiled,
"She was worth the wait."

Oh this is lovely! It's sad sorta, but all the same it's simply beautiful. Imagine, God is filled with joy when one of His children come home to be with Him! I can almostimagine the look of love on His face as He greets those who have trusted in Him for salvation. Again, this is really really beautiful! God bless you dear! I am SO glad to see you here! I love ya girlie and have missed you! ~Melissa♥
