I could ever fully describe
how much you really mean to me
as a mother, as a friend
as a teacher and and a mentor
you are truly the most
beautiful and kind woman
I have ever come across
and I am so blessed
to know you
I don't think
there are words to describe
how much I truly care for and love you
as if we were of the same blood
and the same soul and heart
because you are far more superior
than any word that I could ever use
to explain how absolutely wonderful
you truly are
I will say this, though:
Happy early birthday wishes, beautiful
you are in my heart and on my mind
every single day I continue on going
because you are one of the many people
that keep me living and hoping
you are one of those gorgeous souls
that fill my heart with joy
every single day
So, dress up and go out
celebrate your birthday to the max
gloss those fairy wings and
wear your crown of flowers
with your most beautiful dress
enjoy your time as the queen
of my heart, soul, mind and
especially of this world because
this is your time to shine
Dance and sing
to the music of the world
bowing down at your feet
because you are the Fairy Goddess
for that special day, but
don't ever forget that you are still
that same Goddess in my heart
as a mother, a friend, mentor and teacher
you are who I dream of being
you are that special woman in my heart
and always will be
Keep smiling and always laugh
that's how I love to see my women
keep shining and sprinkling your dust
on those who need just a little smile
I have so much of that dust already
and more need to be blessed with it
because you are just such a blessing
to know and love, to have as comfort
and especially to have as a mother

and all men yearn after you.
Now, if only these words were my own, but they aren't. I saw it on a picture, but, mom, these words don't just explain what you are like and what you truly are, but they seem to be you.

This is such an amazing poem. I still thing the other pic suits her better... *devious grin* Also, reading through it, I am reminded of Florella... Oh well.
Again, amazing poem. I somewhat feel jealous, but I am nowhere near a mother and definitely don't look like one, so I have no choice but to step aside...

Just having you in my life any way possible takes away just a little pain from my heart because I know that someday I will meet my mom in my heart because you are the mother I never had. I was thinking of writing you a birthday poem for a while now and this contest gave me that motivation.
This is just another one of those little pieces of love I so enjoy giving the ones I love most. And as you say I am a beautiful daughter, you in turn, are one very beatiful mother.

Rose darling...You have brought tears to my eyes...I so wish I could take away all the pain you have felt in your life and hope that I can be of some kind of help to you to lessen your pain in the future...You are as dear to me as my own flesh and blood and I treasure our talks and the gift of writing that we share...You truly are a beautiful daughter in every sense of the word.
