Then What?

I do everything I can,
I am trying my very best.
I don’t see why you can’t understand!

Try opening your eyes,
Try paying attention to me.
Try listening to what I have to say!

Too bad I can't leave,
Too bad I can't run away.
Too bad I don't have enough guts!

You wouldn't notice,
You wouldn't even care.
You wouldn't say anything about me!

Maybe I will do it.
Maybe I will finally leave.
Maybe I will gain enough courage.

Perhaps I won’t be here tomorrow.
Will you care then?
Then what?
