I thank You for the fine husband you have blessed me with.
I love him almost as much as I love You.
Forgive me for the times I have loved him more than you.
Bless my sweet Bill with Your divine inspiration
and Your overwhelming love.

I pray life eternal for my sweet Bill
now and for all eternity.
I pray that he have the mind of Christ.

and fall on his knees in submission to You -

to Your judgement

This is a beautiful prayer that you have written for your husband. It is hard to watch the ones we love not submit their whole selves to Christ as we know it should be and praying for them sometimes is the only thing we can do. I will keep your husband and you in my prayers. Hopefully, God will work through you and together your husband and you can journey on His path.

Amen! This is a prayer that many wives have prayed for their husbands, and the other way around. He promises to save our "whole household" if we stay strong in prayer and faith. My husband has come a long way. His prayers with our daughter used to begin and end with "now I lay me down to sleep...." Now, together they still pray that, but he adds to the end, and prays in Jesus name. It is truly awesome as to how God will work. I have always got us as a family, to hold hands and pray before long trips, one time I was slow at it, and he took the upper hand. I was so thankful.
This is a wonderful prayer, and I join with you in believing God for making your husband stronger and to grow more in the Spirit.
