Loveless Liason

Crimson apathy stains
The disheveled sheets beneath them
As they lay together
Breathing the indifference
Tasting the guilt
Consumed by emotions
That won't allow them
To look into the other's eyes
For fear that-
Underlying disgust and loathing
Will breathe life into them again
Further staining
The already desperation-soaked sheets.

Author notes

What happens when two people who can't stand each other spend one passionate, yet emotion-less night together?..Or is it not possible to have passion and no emotion?...

Thank you for your comment. I didnt realize what I had written until I went back and read it. I wrote it after reflecting on a past encounter with a guy I knew to be a jerk, but unfortunately, yes, some people do carve. Hatred sometimes begets lust..Anyway, thanky you again

Beautifully written and explicitly conveyed. It's painful, and it happens too often, but so many people crave it.

Mmmmm... How depressing that it can happen like this, never decided on what honestly to do, but sure that you want the rapture, yet not the emotion...

It can get pretty weird, I'm sure. But why is it that I crave this right now..?
