Stealth Personified.
It moves, though you see nothing.
Trained in the art of assassination,
Concealment, silent death.
The penguin draws near.
Feathered and twisted, this malignant vindictive beast,
Stalks its prey,
An unsuspecting fish, soon to meet its doom.
Single-minded in its quest, it advances,
Senses honed from endless katas
Pengi Nimpo Jutsu.
Antarctic style.
And so, it edges closer.
Perfectly at home in these sunnier climes,
A discarded banana skin for cover.
Just another piece of flotsam on the beach,
To an eye not versed in camouflage.
Like that of a fish.
Until its to late.
One slash of that katana like bill
The deed done, the evidence eaten,
All traces gone,
Save one empty banana skin,
And one less fish in the sea.

I feel i should point out that Penguins are chocolate bars in the uk, so technically ...... hehheh! (written for a compo about Ninjas n banana's and chocolate)

The pure brilliancy of this just stuns me, "antartic style", I've never heard that before! Also, it's good you mentioned that Penuins are chocolate bars, because I didn't know that. That coupled with the cool picture make this a complete package that fulfills a lot of options, and makes me really happy! Also, a penguin as a malign and vindictive beast, well, thats just beautiful man

Haha! Clever! A master of disguise, ninja, assassin Penguin bar! And I always thought they were such cute little critters. Just goes to show, you can’t judge a bird by its ability to fly (or its calorific value for that matter!)
Looks to me like you have more than fulfilled all the requirements of ‘option 1’ here in this superb write. Reckon there might be a nice shiny trophy on your page before too long!
