the mosquito lounge

My hate
can only be described in an inhuman language
of colours and of the fluorescent scent of rose
my needless appreciation of the bitter
resounds in my distaste of the sweet
Tastes like cherry blossoms
in the decaying world of lost angels

In the golden state where the sun always shines
those of us blinded by light and allergic to silver
stay in the comfort zone of the mosquito lounge
where blood is money and power means nothing

I can’t remember a time
when we weren’t  being choked on pills
for every little problem there is a cure
it’s all in the medical science
the study of creating perfection in a world
where perfectionism is…boredom

In the golden state where the sun always shines
those of us blinded by light and allergic to silver
stay in the comfort zone of the mosquito lounge
where blood is money and power means nothing

This is how we complain
in a prettier more polite way
welcome to the mosquito lounge
Society’s unreality.

omg pim I love love love it. so awsome. and I know. mosquitoes are evil. you showed me your bites during lunch today. I love how this had a deep meaning but at the same time held so much humor to it (morbid humor, but humor none the less)
