brightly colored candles

as i gaze upon a figure lying on the bed so tenderly,
i realize the beauty of nonexistence.
the entirety of the essence of this divine wonder
is eating me alive with this resistence.
so overwhelmingly precious, so complete there, in himself.
this muse is overtaking me in a moment.
to caress and just to touch on the outskirts of my future
is everything ive been afraid of; i have not shown it.
the color of the lights, dim, across your figure lovely
is causing my eyes to slowly blur.
how could this be, such magnificent aloneless,
while togetherness and loftiness occur.
my precious, my love, let me be alone for you;
let me try it on my own for us and joy.
press on for me in the glistening of the night sky,
and please do not let your heart be destroyed.
