Easter Egg Invasion

Not much to read here. Just stare at my pretty picture for a moment...


and you thought AP was only for writing! Silly youses!

OK, I guess I should write a little poem for my original master-in-pieces, since this is a poetry sight...

Easter Egg Invasion


They’re coming, they’re coming!
to invade your baskets!
you’re nooks and crannies
for the little ones to find!
Get out your spatulas
and mash them, salt them!
Eat them in salads
with tuna and rye!
OK, maybe not tuna and rye…

On to Hollywood
to the 'B' movie district
for a great epic Sci-Fi adventure:
  "They land, they hatch-
  they destroy all in their path!
  People run, they scream
  in Tokyo and Shanghai!
  Great robot-chick monsters
  with ganglion eyes!"

    I am so hungry now! lol this was brilliant. I can't wait until easter now..... I like the pictures! they are so cool. The flow of the poem was good and easter rocks! This was fun to read and very enjoyable. Great write and well done.

    Very unusual and interesing! Ha Ha Ha, Loved it! Like someone else said, "Very futuristic!" LOL! Gosh I hope not, I don't want to wake up 10 years from now, go outside and have an egg fall on my head! LOL! But I have had that happen to me before! Anyways, greatly unusual write! Keep it up!     The best part about this was: While reading, you were reading with that certain tone of voice, an attitude..which sometimes is hard to get the reader to do. Honestly, I stared at the picture before reading and had NO clue what that picture was of until I read the poem then looked back. Silly me. The art was very cool, I thought. Hehe, this was fun to read I must admit.

    Wow! i thought this was hilarious! i loved all the things in italics! very creative, the only thing i would come up with is something about chubby the frog something or other. keep up the good work!

    About the picture- the picture is my creation, I used a war game's editor feature to create abstract art, then tacked on the easter eggs for the contest! Many brains involved here!

    This was great, it really made me laugh. I can see the mass terror now...people running through the streets as brightly colored easter eggs roll after them a la Indiana Jones...*laughs* Brilliant. Great picture, too.

    That is...amazing. did you make the picture yourself? I'd hate to think the easter bunny is plotting to take over the world, but i think anybody with a propaganda machine (Let's face it, in april that bunny's face is everywhere) like his and easter eggs of doom could do it.

    I didn't think I'd ever be scared of eggs (other than the ticking time-bomb of my own, of course)but I think I'm gonna tread more wearily around the farm-foods section of my local Tesco's from now on!

    o0o I love this image! Attack of the easter eggs dun dun dun..I can see the movie titles now! Trailers of the eggs-ellant new sci-fi thriller/horror! People will leave satisfied from the movie and as they head for the eggs-it they'll begin to worry about their little chicks at home! And that's no yolk.. lol yes I liked the picture!
