Tsunami

Missing image
The fishermen were sailing on the boats
little children were playing on the shore

A huge bowl was placed upside down
upon which was sitting a girl of seven

visitors were busy capturing the memories
in their cameras and video cameras

retired people and many others were set for jogging
to breathe in the early morning fresh air
some alone and many with their grand children
unaware of the fact that it's their last breath

many were busy with their daily chores
at their houses nearby the sea shore

the business men were rushing to their work
so busy that they never had a time to look back

there came a giant wave with a terriffic sound
and took everyone in a matter of second

caught in the giant arms of natural tragedy
many lives were sunk into the ocean

when escaped people on the shore were sighing a releif
a woman grabbed her 5 yr old's hand and walked ahead

the wave came back as it's hunger wasn't yet satisfied
pulled the baby from her mother and having it's prey

it danced on the shores and took everyperson it could touch
and the lives were gone deep inside the water ....forever

the merciless tsunami took away the innocent lives
leaving a blind path for many families...

Oh, so sad . I loved the 9th two lines. If you would added more lines to those 2 I think I would have cried.

it creates a real poetic effect and is filled with a lot of emotion. it isnt a must, but rhyming words make poems sound more good and proper choice of words is required. Good effort ... Keep up the good work.

Horrific scenes of the desaster that human race will remember forever... your words have captured the scene so well... may God be with the families who've lost their loving ones...

i was staring at the screen, couldn't believe my eyes... I only remembered this feeling when I two planes crashed on the top of towers... People panicking everywhere and us sitting, comfortably, going nowhere... I want to send some affectious thought to all these people... raise some money, we did... but what more??? I had experience of disasters and feel for the victims, for the family, the friends... God bless all of them...

I watched a documentary on it in Social studies while fellow students giggled. yeah they fucking laughed. I wanted to walk out. The tsunamis were a tragedy.
