Every eighth-note raindrop
fills the rhythm
to the song in my mind.
Drumbeat pitter-patter
and piano
on the rusty tin roof.
The alto winds blend
with the bass foghorns
of bayside boats
in the song
in my mind.
Quarter-note drops
of nuts, from
the tree above, on
the rusty tin roof.
Crashing, flashing
cymbals conclude
the song
in my mind, with
a coda of droplets.

kinda hard to follow the flow to this one in my opinion...although I love the description in it...anyways thank for entering

I like where you're going with this - but the flow gets caught a bit on choppy language. Try smoothing the transitions so your words flow organically. I think this is good & could be better with some work. Thanks for you entry.
