The mold fits all too well:
"He was one of God's special prototypes,
Never even considered for mass production.
Too weird to live, too rare to die."
The headlines are in:
Al Davis is still alive.
Heston is blasphemed by a fat fucking idiot.
God is Dead.
"No Regrets"
Was life so loathsome?
No, just fully experienced--
Like none other, a man
Created stories from assignments
And kept a drunken diary that makes
Me want to skip out to San Juan
And find that little piece of paradise
That Zimburger was bragging about.
There is always room to shake things up.
Just when you think freedom is dead,
Prove yourself wrong
And do what you will
With
No Regrets

That right there captures the impact such a person can have on people. This contest brought out some great tributes in a variety of styles. This one is no exception. Thanks for entering! -
We may not have many entries, but those entered are all superb. This is another example. This is a great tribute.I like the way the last stanza wrapped it up very well.I feel these last lines are a fitting epitaph.Good luck with this.
Peace,Rob
