Part of the past

What did he do what he shouldn't have done?
Why did i stay? I just couldn't run!
trying to hide in the back of my mind
part of the past I didn't want to find
Trying hard, oh so hard to forget
Part of the past that hasn't left yet
Even tho is part of the past
staying where I'm at isn't going to last
nightmares of the past throw me in a tizzy
there ruining my life and making me dizzy
Finally something is done
my deep dark secret is over and gone
