Love Overcomes All

If you open your eyes
And see the world,
All you will see is destruction.

If you tune your ears
And hear the world,
All you will hear is cries.

If you reach your hands
And feel the world,
All you will feel is the heat
Of burning fire.

But if you open your hearts
And love the world,
You will see creation;
You will hear laughter;
And you will feel warmth.

Open your heart
And love the world;
Do not be afraid
Because we and God
Are right by your side.
