Each drop is laid to rest
In the candle holder
Which rests upon the alter
A dancing flame
Knows how to move
Unbridled along the wick

Great shot of a perfect flame. Love the red with the background. The flow of the write is beautiful and moves easily through the brain giving one the sense of dancing with the flame. I really enjoyed this one.

thanks for your comment and insight. this can be taken into any religion that's using a candle (as you pointed out), however it applies to my rituals and my beliefs in that respect equally as well as just being a plain ole' candle description. it's witchy to me

was it really that witchy? I mean I;ve seen the same description on an alter in a regular church!? Don;t get me wrong, it is a beautiful write! I loved it...and the manipulating of the words drips was very fun...just didn;t seem witchy..at least not by description alone.

I've always enjoyed your witchy writes

"A dancing flame knows how to move" ..for some reason these lines really hit me. I can see so clearly in my mind the dancing flicker of a candle flame. Such a beautiful write.
