The Snow Outside

It is snowing outside,
you see, I hate the snow.
You ask me why and I give you a long answer,
perhaps too long.

...You see, the snow can be a very horrible thing...
It takes ten minutes to get ready
only to realize you must go potty.
You go inside, take clothes off, and then get ready again.
There goes a whole twenty minutes.
Once you are done you go back in,
in to find the hot cocoa not even started.
You start it, you drink it, and there goes your fun.
You spent most of the time...in and out of those many clothes.
...You see, the snow can be a very horrible thing...

It is done snowing outside,
I see you weeping.
I ask you why and you give me a long answer,
perhaps too long.

...You see, snow is wonderful...
You go out and play, build forts and snowball fights.
You go on and on about the fun you had.
Once inside you get the delicious cocoa in your mouth.
Why wouldn't that brighten your day?
The snow outside is beautiful, all white and untouched.
The snow is extra wonderful,
because it strikes conversations up between me and you.
...You see, snow is wonderful...


Author notes

This was inspired by a close friend. The whole romance was just purely based on fun. I had fun writing it and thats all that matters!
