Dragon's Prayer

The Dragon's Prayer

The Dragon is wise beyond its years,
it sets no limits and faces all fears.
The Dragon is powerful in body and mind,
is true to its heart and true to its kind.
The Dragon is just, and fights for what's right.
To all who encounter it, their lives are made bright.
The traits of the Dragon we should all embrace,
and together we'll make the world a better place.

Mmm....line 6 sounded a lil forced, and it should be "its" instead of "it's," but other than that, I really like this piece...has a flavor of wisdom, the knowledge of the ages and such...which is exactly what dragons (the ones that don't try to eat you, anyway) are all about. Great write!
