We are wisest about life when we are young
We know how the world should be
People are people
And always will be.

We are wisest about people when we are old
We know how the world is
People are people
And always will be.

Author notes

Just thinking about how really young kids know how people are only people, that we are all human and nothing can stop that, and then how old people are so untrusting and know the awfulness that the world is capable of.

    Wow, Marina... You never cease to amaze me. I just admire your ability to portray JUST what you're trying to say within something short and to the point, without being neither brutal nor harsh. Absolutley phenomenal. Marina, you have a beautiful heart and a brilliant mind. Never let anyone put either of those to waste.
