Once I could hear
When sorrow sang
Once I could see
The blood on my fang
And when you lied
And the bells rang
I could only hear
When sorrow sang
Once I would fear
That sorrow sang
And I could feel
The blood on my fang
I would be the one to scream
When the bells rang
I could only be
When sorrow sang

definately sorrowful.. (trust me to state the obvious) since you said don't take it literally, i'm wondering did this have a purpose? or was this just something that came out of nowhere? either way, wonderfully written, my friend. write on

So great. I loved the way you stuck with the 'ang' rhyme and it still didn't sound forced! I could imagine this as a song actually. So pretty, yet dark. Very well done.
