One night I saw the moon crash
She was never seen again
Though she was not gone in a flash
I could only dream of her from then
One night I saw the moon dance
And I caught a glimpse of her smile
The feeling of happiness in a glance
Could go on for just one more little while
Father of
My mother
Gone away too soon
Sister of
My brother
Deep inside the moon
One night I saw the moon go black
I feared how she would cry
I realized she turned her back
Because we let her die
Father of
My mother
Gone away too soon
Sister of
My brother
Deep inside the moon
I knew this could not
Why did I smile too?
I knew it all the same but
I know I didn't see you
One night I saw the moon cry
But they were happy tears
This night I saw the moon fly
No longer wrapped in fears
