Beyond the lines and rays and points

Beyond the lines and rays and points
Beyond the area of a cube
There lies a greater variable
and that, my dear, is you

Behind the factual facade
behind the 1's and 0's, true
There's a better source of reason
and that, my dear, is you

For you, though lacking formulas
and without proven truth
your affection's larger than this plane-
and in itself, a proof

But with you, I see so clearly
the composition of this world
is not of numerals and spheres,
but emotions, now unfurled

Abandon manners of fact- not fiction
and to this love, take heed
the only lies are thoughts cast stone,
as we are without need.

most poets cannot speak of numbers- it's very very refreshing to see you can- you should enter this into a contest- it would wind by default because of it's oddness- not to say it doesn't show talent- i like this a lot.

    blessed be

Wow! That's a great attempt at poetry! Sheesh! That was really good...I'm guessing we have a mathematician in the crowd! Welcome to AP...and thank you for the great comment on my poem, Double Wench Romp. That was a collaboration between me and an insanely talented poet named poetryality. It is definitely different than my usual writing style...LOL!
I look forward to reading your other writes!
