hear the Song (partly done)

In the gloom of modern era
When greed stains inner fears,
The heart which carries many dreams
Wallows in the years

Of wasted times, of young lost love
The grit of salty eyes,
The pain which ebbs beneath the beat
Of constantly dry lies.

Oh hear the song, the people sing
The chant of lungs afar
The mist that rises in the air
To gather bout the stars

Oh hear the song, the people sing
With hearts so full of cheer
The song that moves through hearty lips
Is imminently near.

It is the time when people doubt
Affection can be found.
To late is near, to late is gone,
To lie beneath the ground.

wow, you don't usually rhyme, but this (NO JOKE) reminded me of T.S. Eliot, or Frost, or evne Dickenson. Man... you're like...haha a GREAT writer! From short stories to poetry...versatile too
