A special prayer is being said,
by those who truly care.
It's not easy knowing what to say,
sometimes life seems unfair.
I pray the Lord keeps you safely,
in His loving arms.
Protecting you from evilness,
and all of Satan's charms.
Edna and Hugh you're prayed for too,
for God to help you be strong.
To comfort you in the coming days,
through a time that seems so wrong.
Know that I hold you in my heart,
I wish there was something I could do.
To take away the pain you feel,
and genuinely comfort you.

This poem is so lovely! It is always good to remind a person that you are praying for them and that you love them and their Higher Power loves them as well.
This poem is simple, but conveys a strong message, and I love the rhyming. (I am partial to rhyming poems myself.) In all, a very uplifting piece.

How true Sam and my mentor has uterine cancer and must have surgery this week. I know she knows as well as your friends do that she is being prayed for. -
This is a beautiful poem you have written to Hugh and Edna in this his time of need. It is a very comforting piece full of God's love. No one knows the reasons that the things happen as they do but God and it is comforting to know that He will one day reveil them to us. You're always there to add comfort whenever someone needs it. I think that is God's gift to you!

This is such a tender prayer for Hugh and Edna in these hard days. It's so sad these things happen but I know that God will help them overwinning this difficult period. Though I'm not a believer, I am completely sure that god will comfort them and keep a safe hand above their wonderful daughter...

You are a blessing to know and you always show such wonderful cosideration to your freinds. I am sorry for the hurt that Hugh and Edna must be suffering. It is at times like these that it is easy to loose hold on our faith and to lose two of my three daughters is a big test.
I am firm, however, in my belief in God's Will and know that there is a purpose in all He does. God loves and God cares.

It sure was sad to hear the news. I just felt helpless, like there was something I should be doing but what it was I did not know. Hugh is in my thoughts and prayers... I do pray that his daughter find the comfort and peace she needs during this difficult time. Life just doesn't seem fair, but everything happens for a reason. Beautiful words, Sam. It's hard to know what to say due to the circumstances this was written under. I'm sure they appreciate having a friend that will stand in the gap for them and the only other thing I know to do is pray. This is a lovely poem expressing your love and concern for this family.
