I like my interpretation because it's what *I* think. But you're not me, so you don't have to like it. This is what *I* think but who knows what it truly means?

well you are mostly just changing lines around, saying it in a different way, so its not that creative. the song is pretty much self-explanatory anyway. but i do like some of your translations ("I'm so alone I almost feel dead, if not for my heart, I wouldn't know" and "what I say and what I think and know are three different things")

On your 14th line you have "there thoughts" it should say "their thoughts." What I read of this was very unique and interesting. Almost like being in your mind. "When I came to the profanity, I stopped reading." But, that's just me. For what I did read, I liked your way of expressing your loneliness. Penny

yea, i don't completley agree with this and this song is pretty self-explanitory anyway (like everyone said.)
Quite a few songs are written with no deep meaning, so i dunno if this will work. -
SWEET! This is a great interpretation of an awesome song. I looked at doing this song (same thing) for a different contest but couldnt get the words to come out right. Im a huge Green Day fan and I think youve done this song perfectly.

Fine job...tough to be objective though when reading something so opposite of how I wish people would think...as though there is no hope at all. Great interpretation though.

Yeah- I almost entered this contest, but thought the same thing Hastings said. The song is pretty self-explanatory- most Green Day stuff is. But- for the purpose of the contest, I think you did a good job with it.

Hmmm I have mixed thoughts about this. I thought that this song was pretty much self explainatory and this was just over-kill. But I see that these are your thoughts and how the song made you feel and I respect that. Yah got guts! Overall good job!
