My mind fills with knights and dragons,
as I dream of an exotic far away land,
sometimes I am flying on a magic carpet,
over the Arabian Desert above the sand.
Some nights I'm the Queen of the Nile,
wearing diamonds and pearls every day,,
in another dream I was alone on a island,
just me and Sinbad and the moonlit bay.
Not knowing where my dreams will take me,
or what new adventure will fill my mind,
I do know when my head hits the pillow,
my everyday doldrums will be left behind.
My mind captures every romantic moment,
thoughts race while I sleep each night,
I dream of romance and pure fantasy,
full of excitement, passion and delight.
My dreams are so far away from reality,
yet when I awake they seem so real,
each night as my mind falls fast asleep,
in my dreams I come alive, I can feel.

It's as if you went there in person. It's like traveling on another plane of existence. I've been down that road many times. It's kind of like a cheap short vacation from reality. Don't ever lose it. Keep up the great writing. Take care and God Bless.
