Earth's Footstool

alp's
proud feet
covered by
earth's blanket of
snow

Author notes

I love the symbol of both feet and mountain as pride, because I believe pride and humbleness are both the same coin.

Okay, so I woke up this morning and my husband joked about my feet under the blanket being straight up in the air.  'Get a haiku out of that' he said, lol.  Didn't do it in a haiku, but this form the lanturne is very cool.

Beautiful poem. Maybe it's a not a haiku but it makes a damn good lanturne. A beautiful image. I enjoyed it. Thanks for entering and good luck!
