Advice to the Son

And he held out his arms to heal what was broken,
Never even wondering the loss.
Tell her that you'll never leave her, Son.
Hold her, and treasure her thoughts.
Over and over, forgive her, and love her flaws, despite.
Never give in to the torment.
You'll be her muse on which to write.
