4 hours
sure does
a body good.
Too soon
Sunlight is
tap, tap, tapping
to the tune of
“Good Morning Beautiful”
upon my bedroom window.
Over my head goes the pillow,
drowning out the light
come too soon
after a restless night
spent staring
into the void of darkness.
Still gentle,
but this time
with a bit more firmness
Sunlight knocks upon
my bedroom windowsill.
“Wake up sleepy head,”
he seems to say,
“time to start the day.”
“Piss OFF!” I croak,
moan,
and roll over,
pillow thrust down
upon my head.....
so tired
I feel as if
I need to sleep
like the dead.
Sunlight finally gives up,
fucks the formalities,
streams in through
my bedroom window
and screams
“Look you little bitch,
Get your LAZY ass OUTTA bed!”
Then he hits me
hard
with the very pillow
covering my head.

hehehe! I had a roommate in college once, who every morning when the alarm went off, would just at the top of her lungs yell, 'SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!' and hit the snooze bar over and over till i was ready to kick her ass!lol. This was funny! :) -
