The Color of Darkness

The Color of Darkness

The color of darkness, what does that mean?
The color of darkness has rarely been seen.
We close our eyes, and in darkness, dream.

Thanks for your comments pentopaper. If the poem provoked thought, such as it has with you, then it has served it's purpose.

I like this!! Maybe I am interpretating wrong, but it struck me as though you were saying the color of darkness can be a multitude of colors as in our dreams. Perhaps that is not the intent, but regardless it is a very intriguing write, one I enjoyed very much!!! Karen

This is awsome. Not the answer I have searched for. I'm not so much looking for a poem as I am a poetic answer.
As a poem though this is great. Makes sence, nice rhythem, sweet and short and gets an idea across.
I love the way you pit in, and in darkness, dream.
It puts a really pleasant flow in there for me, a little pause and then the end, "dream"
    nice work.
