Sloth

The love ended with her Envy
Never did she show an ounce of mercy
Sloth keeps her from any accomplishing
Unmoving in a rut from the constant pressuring

Numb from pills
Bliss on hills
Sleeping and lazing
Mind clouded and hazing
Perfect ecstasy
Imperfect druggy
Drown in alcohol
Outlook dismal
Constant pain
No cure to obtain
Answers unshown
Nervous breakdown
I lay inert
No moral support
Nothing to share
Reasonless to care
Love is useless
Life meaningless

i like this... i really do. it's a fantastic poem about one of the deadly sins... most people write about lust or jealousy but this is unique. well done and thanks for your comments. Lolly x

Hey... I like where this is going Kinda like a series, eh? This should be interesting. I love this. I think you could maybe take out the numbing pills thing because you used it with the other one... just seems a bit repetative when you read them one after the other. Other than that, this is nice. Great job, and keep writing. I hope to check out more
